Preview of a Claude conversation exported as a clean PDF document

Keep the useful answer, not the browser chrome

GingerCat is designed to preserve the conversation structure you need for work: headings, lists, code blocks, visible artifact text and references where available.

Open the Claude export page

Pick the format by handoff type

  • PDF is best when the document should be stable.
  • DOCX or Google Docs is better when someone needs to edit or comment.
  • Markdown is useful for project notes, documentation and vault workflows.

Review artifacts and references

Claude artifacts can vary by chat state and access. GingerCat can include visible artifact text and references where available, but protected source files may be listed rather than downloaded.

For client work, review the exported file before sending it. Make sure the final document includes the answer, context and references you actually want to share.

Use selected export for cleaner client files

If the chat contains internal exploration, use selected messages where supported. That keeps the exported document focused on the sections that belong in the client-facing handoff.
