Local exports are generated in your browser. GingerCat does not upload chat content to its own servers for local PDF, DOCX, Markdown, HTML, TXT or JSON export.

GingerCat is currently optimized for supported ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini web chats in Chrome.

You can export the full conversation, AI answers only, or selected messages where the provider supports selection. GingerCat supports local document files plus optional Google Docs, Notion and Obsidian destinations when selected.

Yes. Google Docs export runs only when you choose that destination and authorize the Google workflow. GingerCat creates the requested document in your Google Drive.

Yes. Notion export runs only when you choose Notion and select or authorize a destination workspace or page. Notion receives the content needed to create the requested page.

Yes. The Obsidian workflow is Markdown-oriented and designed for local notes, vault archives and related asset files.

Permissions let the extension read the supported AI chat page opened by the user, save settings, create requested exports and run optional account or destination workflows. GingerCat avoids broad all-sites access.

Markdown, TXT, HTML and JSON stay free. Starter also includes daily limits for heavier document and cloud workflows. See the Pricing page for current limits.

Pro removes daily limits for PDF, DOCX, Google Docs, Notion and Obsidian workflows and includes selected-message export where supported.

Creem handles GingerCat Pro billing. Use the View Order link in the Creem receipt email, or open Creem My Orders and sign in with the checkout email. In the Creem order portal, open Manage Order to update payment details, generate an invoice, or cancel renewal.
